Pottery making is one of the oldest crafts still surviving today. Explore the techniques and tools used to create traditional ceramics in Biržai. And at the end of the workshop you get to keep your masterpieces!

Biržai during the Great Northern War

From a grain to a song: Biržai tradition and hospitality

The museum offers a unique glimpse at the beer traditions in Biržai. Visitors will be able to savor local beer produced at the oldest brewery in town. To round off the experience, beer will be accompanied by local food. During the program, visitors will be acquainted with the traditional beer making process and tools, as well as local customs. Visitors will be entertained by a  folklore ensemble from Aukštaitija region and they can expect to take part in their lively performance.

 
This program is only suitable for adults and it should be booked in advance. 
 
Special version of the program is available for wedding ceremonies.
 
The beer program is available in Lithuanian, Latvian, Russian and English, based upon availability of the guides.
